The former site of the office of the Fujian Provincial Committee of the CPC and the Provincial Soviet Government – Ningchunhui is a cultural heritage site protected at the provincial level in Fujian Province.

The former site of the office of the Fujian Provincial Committee of the CPC and the Provincial Soviet Government – Ningchunhui is located on Jingpai Road, Tangwu Village, Sidu Town, Changting County, dating back to 1934–1935.

Description: Built during the Qing Dynasty, it faces northeast and is situated southwest, featuring a two-courtyard, single-entry layout with a brick-and-wood structure, post-and-lintel wooden framework, and a flush-gable roof. It comprises a main gate, lower hall, courtyard, upper hall, and side wings, covering an area of 279 square meters. The upper hall has three bays in width, seven pillars in depth, and includes a front porch with a rolled shed. After the main force of the Red Army embarked on the Long March in 1934, provincial-level agencies such as the Provincial Committee and the Provincial Soviet Government moved to the mountainous areas of Sidu to continue the struggle. In January 1935, due to the severe war situation, they relocated here again. In February 1935, comrades such as Qu Qiubai and He Shuheng stayed here while en route from Huichang, Jiangxi to Yongding.

In 2018, the former site of the office of the Fujian Provincial Committee of the CPC and the Provincial Soviet Government – Ningchunhui was designated as part of the ninth batch of provincial-level cultural heritage protection units by the People’s Government of Fujian Province.

Tangwu Village: Introduction to Tangwu Village

Tangwu Village, Sidu Town, Changting County, is located in the southwestern part of Sidu Town, 18 kilometers from the town center. The village comprises four natural villages with 155 households, a total population of 642, and 25 Party members. The village has a total of 1,530 mu of arable land and 13,692 mu of forestland, including 200 mu of bamboo forest. Tangwu Village is a well-known red revolutionary base in Changting County, primarily known for its abundant bamboo production. Villagers mainly engage in farming, breeding, and planting. The area boasts beautiful scenery with clear mountains, lucid waters, birdsong, floral fragrance, and vast bamboo forests, offering great potential for tourism development.
