The former site of the Ninth Red Army Corps Headquarters and the departure point of the Red Army’s Long March — Guanshou Ancestral Hall — is located in Zhongfu Village, Nanshan Town, Changting County, Longyan City, Fujian Province.

The former site of the Ninth Red Army Corps Headquarters and the departure point of the Red Army’s Long March — Guanshou Ancestral Hall — is an old ancestral hall built by villagers surnamed Zhong to commemorate their ancestors. Constructed in the early Qing Dynasty, it features a traditional hall-style timber-and-earth structure with a double-eaved gate tower supported by bracket sets. It faces southwest and covers an area of 314 square meters.

In May 2005, the former site of the Ninth Red Army Corps Headquarters and the departure point of the Red Army’s Long March — Guanshou Ancestral Hall — was designated as a Cultural Relics Protection Unit of Fujian Province by the People’s Government of Fujian Province. In August 2011, it was recognized as a Fujian Provincial Party History Education Base by the Party History Research Office of the CPC Fujian Provincial Committee.

In May 2013, the State Council (State Council Document [2013] No. 13) listed the Departure Site of the Long March by the Ninth Red Army Corps as part of the seventh batch of Major Historical and Cultural Sites Protected at the National Level.

Zhongfu Village: Zhongfu Village serves as the southern gateway to Changting, a national historical and cultural city. It is located 42 kilometers from downtown Changting and 7 kilometers from Nanshan Town Government. Originally known as Zhongwu, the village has a history of nearly a thousand years since its establishment during the Tang Dynasty. Currently, the village has residents from the Zhong and Zheng families, with 906 households and a population of over 3,400, covering an area of about 12 square kilometers. About 90% of the population are surnamed Zhong. The founding ancestor is Guanshou Gong, whose son Shengsheng Gong served as the Prefectural Governor of Tingzhou.
