The Guantian Li Clan Ancestral Hall is a national AAA-level tourist attraction and a Major Historical and Cultural Site Protected at the National Level.

Situated on the shores of Longhu Lake along the Hangyong Highway in Guantian Village, about 38 kilometers from Shanghang County, the hall benefits from convenient transport by both water and land. Constructed in the 16th year of the Daoguang reign of the Qing Dynasty (1836), it was funded by over 20,000 taels of silver and completed after four years of work by descendants of the Li clan (Li Menglan, the 23rd-generation descendant of Li Huode), in memory of their earliest ancestor to settle in Fujian, Li Huode. It is hailed as the “Foremost Ancestral Hall of the Hakka People.” The entire structure boasts a unique architectural design, rational layout, exquisite ornamentation, majestic presence, and a seamless blend of imperial palace-style architecture with traditional Hakka residential elements—features that make it truly distinctive. It has been listed as a Key Cultural Relic Protected at the Provincial Level in Fujian Province and attracts numerous scholars, experts, and tourists from far and wide.

Guantian Village: Located on the banks of Huangtan River, Guantian Village in Rentai Town is less than 1 kilometer from the town center. As the largest administrative village in Rentai Town, it is also home to the provincial-level cultural relic, the Li Clan Ancestral Hall, and is recognized as a county-level model and credit-worthy village. The village governs 29 villager groups, with 921 households and a population of 3,564. The village committee consists of 9 members, and there are 86 Party members, 52% of whom operate their own economic entities. The village covers 2,900 mu of arable land and 8,873 mu of forested land. To date, 1,650 mu have been planted with red-fleshed honey pomelo, making it a county-level “one village, one product” specialty village.
