Linghe Village

Linghe Village in Caixi Town is located in the northern part of Caixi Town, adjacent to National Highway 205, only a six-minute drive from the Yongwu Expressway interchange, and borders Tongxian Township. The village has 11 villager groups, 543 households, and a population of 2,763. It currently has 1,340 mu of arable land and 18,430 mu of forested land, making it the third-largest administrative village in Caixi Town.

The village is rich in green natural resources. Its newly developed area is surrounded by mountains on three sides, and natural landscapes such as gently flowing streams are well-preserved. It also has a profound historical and cultural heritage, including the Qilin Hall on Zihua Mountain and Foling Nunnery, both built during the Xining era of the Northern Song Dynasty. There are also a number of cultural and revolutionary sites from the revolutionary war period, such as the Soviet grain storage facility, revolutionary transportation liaison stations, the former site of the China Printing Bureau, ruins of wartime armament factories, and the former residence of Major General Li Zhizhong—one of the “Nine Armies and Eighteen Divisions.” These sites form an important part of Caixi’s red tourism and have been included among the 100 national red tourism scenic areas and 30 classic travel routes.

The village is recognized as a “One Village, One Product” specialty village at both the municipal and county levels. It features agritainment eco-tourism destinations that integrate navel orange picking, sightseeing, specialty breeding, and leisure activities. There is also a county-level entrepreneurship park for young university students with disabilities and a Party members’ entrepreneurship park. Additionally, there are four municipal-standardized pig farms, including the Hongfeng Breeding Farm, and a 328-mu demonstration area for soybean cultivation developed through land transfer and contiguous development. Green ecological agriculture has begun to take shape here.
