Shangdeng Huilong Pavilion

Shangdeng Huilong Pavilion is a cultural heritage site protected at the provincial level in Fujian Province.

Shangdeng Huilong Pavilion is located in Shangdeng Village, Lincheng Town, Shanghang County, also known as Huilong Pavilion or Luodeng Tower. Originally built during the Hongwu era of the Ming Dynasty (1368–1398), the current structure is from the Qing Dynasty. It faces west with an eastward orientation and is a five-story pagoda built with earth and wood. The outer main gate faces south with a northward orientation. The building stands 16 meters tall, is 15 meters wide, and 16 meters deep. The first and second floors are square-shaped with three bays each; the third to fifth floors are octagonal, with the third and fourth floors consisting of one bay each, and no separation between the fourth and fifth floors. Stairs from the first to the fourth floor spiral upward along the walls. It features an overhanging gable roof. The associated cultural relic, Xianren Bridge (Immortal Bridge), is located 10 meters to the right of Shangdeng Huilong Pavilion. Built during the Ming Dynasty, it is a single-arch stone bridge constructed with cobblestones, oriented east-west, with a total length of 28 meters, a width of 4.8 meters, a span of 12 meters, and a height of 9 meters.

Shangdeng Village: Shangdeng Village is 13 kilometers from the county seat, with a total population of 2,533 people, comprising 618 households and 24 villager groups. Among them, there are 830 people from ethnic minority groups (surnamed Lan and Zhong), 48 Party members (including 5 mobile Party members and 5 female Party members), and 39 villager representatives. The village has 2,527 mu of arable land and 25,000 mu of forested land, including 10,000 mu of bamboo forest.
