Gutian (Wudi) Red Army Town is a national AAA-level tourist attraction.

The Gutian (Wudi) Red Army Town scenic area is located in Wudi Community, Gutian Town, Shanghang County, Longyan City, just 7 kilometers from the core Gutian scenic area. The planned area of the scenic zone spans 25.6 square kilometers. It aims to create a distinctive Gutian model of “scenario-based education and experiential teaching,” with the planning theme of “upholding the original aspirations of Gutian and remembering the mission of the era,” and the planning positioning of establishing a practical base for Party spirit education activities centered on “never forgetting the original aspiration.” With the design philosophy of maximizing ecological protection, preserving the original appearance of the China Resources Hope Town and ancient dwellings, while integrating red culture elements, the area has developed scenario-based educational nodes such as a Red Army sentry post, eco-friendly parking lot, Azalea Flower Hall, Soul-Casting Road, Red Army parade platform, Soul-Casting Square, slogan wall paintings, Red Army canteen, experiential Red Army homestays, Party spirit education forum, Valley of Original Aspiration, Victory Road, Spark Trail, and Battlefield Wildflowers (live-action CS). These form a scenario-based education base capable of accommodating 1,000 trainees per day and hosting 600 overnight trainees. The scenic area boasts a long historical and cultural heritage, beautiful natural ecology, pleasant climate, simple and honest local customs, prominent geographical advantages, well-developed reception facilities, and high-quality services. It is a unique destination for receiving revolutionary traditional education and experiencing the life of the Red Army in those days.

Gutian Town: Gutian Town is located in the northeastern part of Shanghang County, Fujian Province, at the southern foot of Meihua Mountain, at the junction of Xinluo, Shanghang, and Liancheng districts of Longyan City. It is the site of the famous Gutian Conference and also home to the Meihua Mountain Nature Reserve.

Situated at a key transportation hub, it connects northward to Liancheng and Changting, linking to Jiangxi; southwestward to Shanghang and Wuping, leading to Guangdong; and eastward to Longyan, Zhangping, and on to Xiamen. The area enjoys convenient transportation and sees a constant flow of visitors.
