The former site of the Red Transportation Line contact point (Tongji An) is a cultural relic protection unit of Shanghang County and a classic red tourism scenic spot.

The former site of the Red Transportation Line contact point (Tongji An) is located in Xinfang Village, Jiuxian Town. It was built in the fifth year of the Jiaqing era during the Ming Dynasty (1800) and renovated in the first year of the Xianfeng era (1851). The building faces south, covers an area of about 400 square meters, and is a single-story flat-roofed structure with a hard mountain-style roof, built from brick and wood. It has an upper and lower hall with a central courtyard. The lower hall uses a post-and-lintel wooden frame, while the upper hall is supported by six stone pillars and also features a post-and-lintel wooden frame. The upper hall is three bays wide and houses statues of deities such as the Three Treasures, the Great Buddha, and Guanyin. The left outer wall of the lower hall has four stone steles erected. Between 1931 and 1934, the Central Red Transportation Line passed through this area, and a contact point was established here.

To the east, it extends 1 meter outward to the west side of Li Jianwen’s residence; to the south, it extends 5 meters outward to the southern edge of the village road; to the west, it extends 1 meter outward to a small path; to the north, it extends 7 meters outward to the northern edge of the village road.

To the east, it extends 10 meters outward from the protected area to the east side of Li Jianwen’s residence; to the south, it extends 5 meters outward; to the west, it extends 10 meters outward from the protected area to the east side of Deng Rongxian’s residence; to the north, it extends 30 meters outward from the protected area to the southern edge of the Old Bai Highway.
