The Lan Family Residence in Xinwuxia is a cultural heritage site protected at the county level in Shanghang County.

The Lan Family Residence in Xinwuxia is located in Xinwuxia, Shuren Village, Guanzhuang She Ethnic Township. Built during the Qing Dynasty, it faces south and consists of a three-courtyard, three-row residential complex covering an area of approximately 1,500 square meters, with a total depth of 34 meters and a width of 32 meters. It has a brick-and-wood structure, with the central hall featuring a post-and-lintel wooden frame, the upper hall a mortise-and-tenon framework, rammed earth flooring, and the lower hall courtyard enclosed with stone slabs. The central hall courtyard is surrounded by pebble stones. Calligraphy on the walls of the central hall includes “Lei Feng’s Diary,” while the upper hall walls feature slogans such as “On the Coalition Government” and “On the Correct Handling of Contradictions Among the People.”

The boundary extends 7 meters eastward to the village road, 1 meter southward to [incomplete], 5 meters westward, and 12 meters northward to a drainage ditch.

Construction Control Zone:

The boundary extends 10 meters eastward from the protected area to farmland, 5 meters southward to [incomplete], 2 meters westward, and 10 meters northward to the northern edge of the village road.

Shuren Village: Shuren Village is situated on the scenic eastern bank of the Ting River, the mother river. It neighbors Xinmin Village to the east within the same township and connects via the Red Route to the famous revolutionary old base of Caixi Town. To the south and north, it borders Zengsi Village and Dekang Village respectively. The village comprises 21 villager groups, with 839 households and a population of 3,788, 99% of whom are from the She ethnic group, making it the largest ethnic minority settlement in Longyan City.
