Anshan Book Hall is a cultural heritage site protected at the county level in Shanghang County.

Anshan Book Hall is located at No. 55 Yuzheng Road, You’an Village, Zhongdu Town. Built in the third year of the Daoguang reign during the Qing Dynasty (1823), it covers an area of 650 square meters. Facing south with a north orientation, the structure is made of earth and wood and follows a three-courtyard, three-row residential layout. It has a total width of 19 meters and a depth of 25 meters, featuring six halls of various sizes and 22 rooms of different dimensions, all adorned with exquisitely carved patterns and painted decorations. During its renovation in 2017, the rear building and the pavilion on the outer courtyard were reconstructed.

Protected area: 1 meter eastward extension to a small path; 7 meters southward extension to a retaining wall; 1 meter westward extension to the residence of Qiu Qibiao; 1 meter northward extension to the wall of the residence of Qiu Qizhi.

Construction control zone: 10 meters eastward from the boundary of the protected area to vegetable fields; 17 meters southward from the boundary of the protected area to the edge of a fishpond; 10 meters westward to the eastern wall of Qiu Qibiao’s residence; 10 meters northward from the boundary of the protected area to the northern wall of Qiu Qizhi’s residence.

You’an Village: You’an Village currently has a population of 740 people, with 178 households. It administers four natural villages and seven villager groups. It borders Mulin Village to the east, neighbors Qinmu Village and Tianbei Village to the south, adjoins Chenhe Village to the west, and connects to Changxu Village to the north. The village is roughly linear in shape, stretching about 6 kilometers from east to west, with a total area of approximately 9 square kilometers. There is one enterprise in the village — Huaping Agriculture and Animal Husbandry Co., Ltd. — which is an agricultural industrial enterprise integrating pig breeding, fruit tree cultivation, and feed processing.
