The Historical Site of the Red Transportation Route (Yiyan Building) is a cultural relic protection unit of Shanghang County and a classic red tourism attraction.

The Historical Site of the Red Transportation Route (Yiyan Building) is located on Eyi First Road, Dayangba Village, Xikou Town. Built during the Qing Dynasty, it covers an area of approximately 1,200 square meters. The main structure faces southeast to northwest, with the entrance gate facing north to south, and is constructed of earth and wood. Originally laid out in a “through-hall horse-riding building” and “nine halls and eighteen courtyards” configuration, the main building’s lower hall has a three-bay plan with a depth of five columns, featuring a piercing-style wooden frame, while the upper hall is a two-story building of earth-and-wood construction. To the north, the Huangtan River flows from east to west. In 1930, the Central Red Transportation Route passed through this area, where a temporary transportation station was established.

Protected Area: 2 meters eastward to a path; 2 meters southward to a village road; 2 meters westward to a stream; 2 meters northward to a stream.

Construction Control Zone: 10 meters beyond the protected area.
