The Sanping Jiang Clan Ancestral Hall is a cultural relic protection unit of Shanghang County.

The Sanping Jiang Clan Ancestral Hall is located in Sanping Village, Lufeng She Ethnic Township, and dates back to the Yuan Dynasty. It is categorized as an ancient architectural structure.

The Jiang Clan Ancestral Hall is located in Gangbei, Sanping Village, Lufeng She Ethnic Township, Shanghang County. It was first built in the Dingwei year of the Zhi Zheng era during the Yuan Dynasty (1367). The total area of the ancestral hall is approximately 450 square meters, with the main structure facing northeast and situated southwest, while the outer gate faces east. The terrain of the Sanping Ancestral Hall resembles that of a bull fighting a rock. The building is divided into upper and lower halls, with an inner courtyard in front of the lower hall surrounded by walls. There is a couplet on both sides of the gate: “The Ji River’s waters flow far; the Min Mountains’ grace endures long.” The hall’s inscribed couplet reads: “An elder brother as prime minister, a younger as imperial secretary—rare are such masterful writings in the world; a father who died for righteousness, a son who upheld virtue—a family of such loyalty and filial piety is seldom seen.” Descendants of Jiang Shiba Lang, the founding ancestor of Sanping Village, are spread across various regions of Fujian, extending to Hunan, Guangxi, Guangdong, Zhejiang, Taiwan, and Southeast Asia, numbering as many as two to three hundred thousand.

The Sanping Jiang Clan Ancestral Hall is the 11th batch of county-level cultural relic protection units in Shanghang County.

Protected area: 23 meters outward from the outer gate on the eastern side to the path by the pond; 1 meter outward from the walls on the southern, western, and northern sides. A 5-meter buffer zone beyond the protected boundaries serves as the construction control area.

Sanping Village: In 1278 AD (the first year of the Xiangxing era of the Song Dynasty), Qiu Shiliang, a descendant of Jiang Wanqing (Minister of Revenue), relocated with his family from Ninghua Shibi Village to the fourth subdistrict of the ninth map in Shengyunli, Shanghang County, to establish the settlement, which they called Sanping. It has been 730 years to date.

Sanping Village is located in the northeastern part of Lufeng Township, between 116°31′22″–116°32′04″ east longitude and 24°58′50″–24°59′08″ north latitude.
