Daliu Grassland

The comprehensive development project of Daliu Grassland is designed with the concepts and operational focus of sightseeing, sports, agriculture, business, wellness, and elderly care. The project is located in and around Daliu Town, Nanqiao District, stretching from the Jianghuai Watershed in the north to Provincial Highway 311 in the east, from the line of Beizhang, Quting, and Cangwu in the south to Huangfu Mountain National Forest Park in the west. The intended development area covers 70 square kilometers, including an initial phase covering approximately 10 square kilometers and a second phase spanning 60 square kilometers. The total planned investment for the project is 6 billion RMB, with 2.1 billion RMB allocated to the first phase. This includes outdoor sports group activities, agricultural and geological science and education cultural experience facilities, a five-star hotel and hot spring facilities, mountain golf villas, international wellness and healthcare programs, and eco-leisure agricultural projects. The second phase, with an investment of 3.9 billion RMB, includes dynamic amusement park projects, cultural and commercial district developments, European-style tourism towns, international schools, high-tech agricultural projects, and water-based sports and leisure activities. The overall construction period spans from 2011 to 2020 over a total of ten years, divided into two five-year phases — the first from 2011 to 2015 and the second from 2016 to 2020.
