Shungeng Ecological Agricultural Park

Shungeng Ecological Agricultural Park is situated in Huangnigang Town, Nanqiao District. It was developed by Nanjing Rural World Investment Tourism Industry Co., Ltd., with a planned total area of about 6,000 acres and an estimated investment of close to 300 million RMB. The key components of the park include “One Core,” “Two Parks,” and “Six Zones” — specifically, the Entrance Service Center, Shungeng Cultural Park, Fengle Leisure Park, as well as the Farmland Landscape Zone, Fruit & Flower Resort Zone, Wetland Leisure Zone, Forest Wellness Zone, High-efficiency Agriculture Experimental Zone, and Corporate Farming Zone. The project aims to establish Shungeng Ecological Agricultural Park as a model of modern, high-efficiency agricultural industry in Chuzhou City and as a demonstration leisure tourism park for hilly terrains in East China, within a short timeframe.

Huangnigang Town: A town under the jurisdiction of Nanqiao District, Chuzhou City. In the early years of the People’s Republic of China, it was known as Huangni Township. In 1958, it became a people’s commune, was reorganized as a township in 1981, and was upgraded to Huangnigang Town in 1992. It lies 22.4 kilometers north of Chuzhou City, covering an area of 83.1 square kilometers with a population of 19,000. The Chuzhou–Zhangbalin Highway passes through the town. The town administers 15 village committees: Jiedao, Huangni, Tangzhuang, Yaotang, Wanying, Datang, Zhuying, Linchang, Dushan, Guangshan, Daying, Zhangpuying, Baoqiao, Luotian, and Shanghong. The main agricultural products are rice and wheat, and the area is abundant in tea, peanuts, and small-grind sesame oil.
