Nanzhao Chaoyang Site

The Nanzhao Chaoyang Site is a cultural heritage protection unit in Chuzhou City.

The Nanzhao Chaoyang Site is located in Wanqiao Village, Yaopu Town, Nanzhao District, Chuzhou City. Dating back to the Neolithic Age, it is classified as an ancient site, covering an area of 6,000 square meters. It is among the first batch of cultural heritage protection units in Chuzhou City, with the announcement document number Chuzheng [1993] No. 53.

Protected area: 50 meters east, west, south, and north of the site.

Construction control zone: 50 meters east, west, south, and north beyond the protected area.

Yaopu Town: Yaopu Town is a municipal-level economically strong town in Nanzhao District. It is located 9 kilometers south of Chuzhou City, bordered by the scenic Langya Mountain Scenic Area to the west, adjacent to National Highway 312 and the Hefei-Nanjing Expressway to the south, and neighboring National Highway 104 and the municipal development zone to the north. The renovated Fengle Avenue and the Chuzhou–Nanjing Expressway run through the town. The Chuzhou Station of the Beijing–Shanghai High-Speed Railway is situated here. Most of the southern urban road network lies within Yaopu Town, with road construction around key projects such as the high-speed railway station area and the science and education park already taking initial shape, forming a chessboard-like road layout of four horizontal and five vertical roads.
