The Yao Tang Ancient Tombs are a cultural relic protection unit of Chuzhou City.

The Yao Tang Ancient Tombs are located in Yao Tang Village, Huangni Gang Town, Nanqiao District, Chuzhou City. Dating from the Han to the Song dynasties, they are categorized as ancient tombs and cover an area of 8,000 square meters. They are among the third batch of cultural relics protection units designated by Chuzhou City, with the official announcement document number Chuzheng [2006] No. 25.

Protected area: east to the western edge of Yao Tang, south to the residential property of Yinsha Jiang, west to the Bengning Expressway, and north to Tanggeng Road within 200 meters.

Construction control zone: 20 meters to the east and west outside the protected area.

Huangni Gang Town: A town under the jurisdiction of Nanqiao District, Chuzhou City. In the early years after the founding of the People’s Republic of China, it was known as Huangni Township. In 1958, it became a people's commune; in 1981, it reverted to township status; and in 1992, it was established as Huangni Gang Town. It lies 22.4 kilometers north of Chuzhou City. Covering an area of 83.1 square kilometers, it has a population of 19,000. The Chuzhou–Zhangbaling Highway passes through the town. The town administers 15 village committees: Streets, Huangni, Tangzhuang, Yao Tang, Wanying, Datang, Zhuying, Forest Farm, Dushan, Guangshan, Daying, Zhangpu Ying, Baoqiao, Luotian, and Shanghong. The main agricultural products are rice and wheat, and the area is known for tea, peanuts, and small-ground sesame oil.
