Shen Mountain National Forest Park is a national AAA-level tourist attraction and a national forest park.

Shen Mountain is located 15 kilometers northwest of Quanjiao County and is a national forest park that integrates beautiful waters, peculiar rocks, caves, and ancient temples. The area features undulating mountains, deep caves, vast forests, and streams leaping over cliffs. Its main peak stands at an elevation of 295 meters and is surrounded by nine peaks, hence the name "Nine Dragons Circling a Pearl." As early as more than 1,000 years ago, both Buddhist and Taoist traditions vied to establish temples and sacred sites here. The “divinity” of Shen Mountain can be seen from this.

The fame of Shen Mountain is also attributed to the great poet Wei Yingwu, who was serving as the prefect of Chuzhou in the fourth year of the Jianzhong era of the Tang Dynasty (783 AD). The following autumn, Wei’s five-character ancient poem "To the Taoist Priest in the Mountains of Quanjiao" made Shen Mountain widely renowned through the poet’s deep emotions and serene charm, attracting literati and scholars throughout the dynasties to visit.

Shen Mountain enjoys a beautiful environment, pleasant climate, and a forest coverage rate of over 90%, with more than 400 species of well-known trees. Major attractions include Baishi Spring, Shen Mountain Lake, Lansheng Tower, Yuxi Bridge, Immortal Cave, Baishi Cave, Tuan Mountain Cave, Qingniu Cave, as well as Heishikuo known for its iconic Shen Mountain rocks and Shen Mountain Temple, which dates back more than 1,200 years.
