Longshan Temple

Longshan Temple is a cultural heritage protection unit in Chuzhou City.

Longshan Temple is located at the foot of Longshan Mountain in Longshan Village, Xiwang Town. It dates back to the Northern and Southern Dynasties period, is categorized as an ancient architectural structure, and covers an area of square meters. It is listed as part of the fifth batch of cultural heritage protection units in Chuzhou City, with the official announcement number Chuzheng Mi [2017] No. 122.

Protected area: 20 meters around the temple.

Construction control zone: 40 meters to 500 meters beyond the protected area.

Longshan Village: Overview of Longshan Village

The current Longshan Village was formed in April 2008 through the merger of the former Longshan Village and the former Hezuo Village following a village-level administrative division adjustment. It consists of 27 villager groups, has a total population of 4,128, and covers a cultivated land area of 7,482 mu. There is currently 1 Party General Branch, 4 Party Branches, 20 Party Groups, and a total of 151 Party members. The present-day Longshan Village borders Dashu to the south and Machang to the east, with a total area of approximately 25 square kilometers.
