Jiang Shangqing Memorial Park in Sixian County is a patriotic education base.

Jiang Shangqing Memorial Park is located in Xiaowan, Liuxu Town, Sixian County, at the site where the martyr Jiang Shangqing sacrificed his life. It was built to commemorate Comrade Jiang Shangqing, a national model of heroism and a founding figure of the democratic revolutionary base in northeastern Anhui. The park spans over 200 acres and is divided into six zones: the Landscape Scenic Area, the Theme Memorial Area, the Entrance Plaza Area, the Monument Pavilion Area, and the Park Scenic Area. Its eight major scenic features include the Jiang Shangqing Memorial Statue, the Main Altar, the Memorial Hall, the Memorial Wall, the Totem Poles, the Stone Archway, the Martyrdom Pavilion, and the Rubber Dam.

The stone archway at the entrance of the Memorial Plaza bears inscriptions on both sides personally penned by Jiang Zemin: "Lofty Spirit Like a Rainbow" and "Immortal Heroes Through the Ages." Eight totem poles stand along the Memorial Avenue. The Main Altar is situated at the northern end of the park, covering an area of 4,947 square meters, with a 2.8-meter-high half-length granite statue of Jiang Shangqing prominently displayed at its center. The Memorial Hall has a total area of approximately 500 square meters and includes exhibition rooms, a corridor of inscriptions, scene sculptures, and an audiovisual hall. Among these, the exhibition rooms feature a photo exhibition of Jiang Shangqing’s life, ground projection interactions, holographic projections, and a touch-sensitive interactive flipbook (displaying Jiang Shangqing’s poetry), all showcasing his great and glorious revolutionary life, his remarkable contributions to national liberation, and his noble personal character. The relief memorial wall, 20 meters long and 2.5 meters high, depicts the grand scenes of Jiang Shangqing’s life, from his underground student activism and party membership, to his struggles in prison, his use of writing as a weapon to spread the seeds of revolution, his efforts in forming the anti-Japanese united front in northeastern Anhui, and finally his heroic sacrifice. The Martyrdom Pavilion is located at the southern end of the park, covering an area of 18 square meters with a height of 5 meters. It is a white marble pavilion with four corners, and at its center stands a stone tablet inscribed with “Site of Jiang Shangqing’s Martyrdom.”
