Dongjin River Rafting is located in Meilin Town, Ningguo City, Anhui Province. The area enjoys convenient transportation and a prime location, bordering Anji to the east, facing Huangshan to the south, and being close to Jiuhua Mountain to the west.

The Dongjin River Rafting course is 6 kilometers long and takes approximately one hour. As you drift along, you’ll be surrounded by verdant mountains and tranquil bamboo seas. As the saying goes, “The raft floats on the river, and you travel as if in a painting.”

Dongjin River Rafting is known for its “Five Beauties.” The first is the breathtaking scenery—floating down the river, you’ll see terraced fields on both banks, lush and layered, and sweeping bamboo forests with undulating green waves, all creating a magnificent and refreshing view. Egrets fly overhead and ducks quack along the way, presenting a living landscape poem and a pastoral painting.

The second beauty is experiencing the simple and genuine local culture. As you ride the bamboo raft, a kind and honest boatman will guide you through mountain villages with white walls and black tiles, allowing you to appreciate the idyllic rural life of the locals.

The third beauty is hearing poignant and fascinating legends. Along the journey, you can learn about the origin of the Widow’s Bridge and the tales of the Golden Hanging Coffin.

Meilin Town: Located in the southeastern part of Ningguo City, Meilin Town borders the Zhejiang-Anhui junction. Both S104 Highway and the Dongjin River run through the town, which is just 10 kilometers from the city center, making transportation very convenient. The town covers a total area of 185.5 square kilometers, governs 8 administrative villages, 1 neighborhood committee, and 195 villager groups, with a population of 24,000.
