Ningguo Wanniantai

Ningguo Wanniantai is a cultural heritage site protected at the municipal level by Xuancheng City.

Ningguo Wanniantai is located in Fangtang Township, Ningguo City. It dates back to the Qing Dynasty and is classified as an ancient architectural structure.

In 2016, Ningguo Wanniantai was designated by the Xuancheng Municipal People’s Government as part of the second batch of municipal-level cultural heritage protection units.

Fangtang Township: A township under the jurisdiction of Ningguo City. Established as Gecun Township in 1952, it became Fangtang Commune in 1961 and was reorganized as a township in 1983. Located in the western part of the city, it is 29 kilometers from downtown Ningguo. Covering an area of 147.8 square kilometers with a population of 4,000, it is connected by road to the Ci (Hu) – Zhang (Wangmiao) Highway. The township administers ten village committees: Fukeng, Shangtan, Zhongtan, Licun, Shiling, Fangtang, Gecun, Wangcun, Macun, and Pancha. The main agricultural product is rice, while forest products include fir, bamboo, tea, and mushrooms. The area is rich in quartzite and limestone deposits.
