Zhang Family Ancestral Hall in Changling, built during the Qing Dynasty. It is located on the west side of Zhangchong Village Group in Changling Village, Tangwan Town, Tongcheng City, within the campus of Changling Primary School. The ancestral hall has two sections, front and back, each five bays wide. The front section features an upper floor, with a stage on the central bay of the upper level. The rear section is built on a raised platform, featuring a post-and-lintel wooden frame with large timber materials and lofty construction. Under the eaves is a rolled shed-style pavilion, beneath which are bracket sets adorned with wood carvings. The carvings feature exquisite patterns and delicate craftsmanship, making them fine works of art. The entire structure uses thick blue bricks for load-bearing gable and eave walls, with small roof tiles covering the roof. The eaves are crowned with high horse-head walls, and the undersides are decorated with painted designs. The architectural style is solemn, elegant, simple, and unadorned.

Zhang Family Ancestral Hall in Changling is a ritual building used by the local Zhang family for ancestor worship and major ceremonies. The layout of the ancestral hall is intact, and it features a stage in the front section and wood carvings in the rear section, using refined materials. It is relatively rare among the ancestral halls preserved in Tongcheng to date and is considered a model of vernacular architecture in the mountainous northwest region of Tongcheng.
