Daguan Revolutionary Liaison Station

The Daguan Revolutionary Liaison Station is located at No. 43, Lower Street, Old Daguan Street, Sanba Village Group, Xiaoguan Village, Daguan Town, Tongcheng City, covering an area of 150 square meters. It faces east and has a single-entry, four-bay two-story structure built with brick and wood. The building features four pillars reaching the ground and still retains its lattice windows. A door in the backyard leads to a small river bend.

The liaison station is located at the junction of Tongcheng, Lujiang, and Shucheng counties, historically a strategic military location. In the 30th year of the Republic of China (1941), to facilitate communication between Hubei and Anhui, the Party used Shi Dasha, a former member of the Tongmenghui, as a cover and dispatched Wang Yu (then Secretary of the CPC Southeastern Henan Regional Committee) to establish a secret transportation and liaison station here. Operating under the name "Revival Store," it was responsible for transmitting intelligence and escorting revolutionary comrades. The station ceased operations in February 1946.

The Daguan Revolutionary Liaison Station is an important surviving revolutionary site in the city. During the War of Resistance against Japan, it played a crucial role in establishing connections between the Wanjiang Anti-Japanese Base Area and the Dabie Mountain region, delivering documents and intelligence for the Party, escorting comrades traveling to and fro, and engaging in arduous struggles for revolutionary activities in the white areas, making significant contributions to the history of the Chinese revolution.
