Happy Water World at Huohai is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction.

Happy Water World at Huohai is located in the western suburbs of Tongcheng City, Anhui Province — known as the "Gateway to Seven Provinces," "China's Literary Capital," and "Hometown of Huangmei Opera." It is part of the Tongcheng Xianlonghu Tourism Resort and represents another classic project by Anhui Yongxian Group following their investment in the Giant Stone Mountain in Anqing.

Located in Tongcheng, the Literary Capital and one of the core cities of the Hefei Economic Circle in central Anhui, Happy Huohai is a national 4A-level scenic area and one of the largest water amusement destinations in East China, as well as Asia’s first and most distinctive magical water park. Happy Huohai officially opened to the public on June 16, 2012. Since its opening, it has received an average of 2,000–3,000 visitors on regular days, over 10,000 visitors on weekends and holidays, and welcomed nearly 300,000 guests within just a few months of operation. Due to weather conditions, Happy Huohai closed successfully at the end of 2012. During the closure period, extensive construction was carried out to add more amusement attractions. On May 18, 2013, Happy Huohai reopened in a brand-new look with the latest rides to welcome visitors.

The first phase of Happy Huohai in China has established four major themed amusement zones. These include the Enthusiastic Water Disco, Crazy Huohai, Crazy Slide Zone, and Huohai Exploration Zone, featuring over 120 water-based experiences, including more than 40 amusement facilities. In 2013, Happy Huohai added new attractions such as the Splash Water Castle, Polar Ice Bar Western Restaurant, Noah’s Ark Dining, Tongcheng-style snacks, and ethnic minority dance performances. In addition to exciting rides and facilities, Happy Huohai also offers comprehensive supporting amenities, including dining, shopping, medical and health services, showers, and changing rooms.

Happy Huohai also leverages its functional zoning of amusement attractions and draws on the rich cultural heritage of Tongcheng, the Literary Capital, as inspiration for its thematic storytelling. With “Crazy Huohai – Huohai Exploration” as the main narrative thread, rides such as the Huohai Surfing and Huohai Rafting serve as magical-themed scenes, immersing visitors in a spectacular world of joyful aquatic adventure.
