Luosishan Scenic Area

Luosishan Scenic Area is located at the eastern end of Tongling City, on the north side of Changjiang East Road. It mainly consists of several peaks including Luosishan, Qingshi Mountain, Wenshan, and Wushan, covering a total area of over 1,500 acres. The highest peak, Qingshi Mountain, has an elevation of 156 meters, while the main attraction, Luosishan, stands at 111 meters above sea level.

Since the construction of "Youth Park" in this scenic area began in 1985, various attractions have been built within the park, including Qionglou (Elegant Tower), Diege (Layered Pavilion), Fengting (Maple Pavilion), Guanritai (Sunrise Viewing Platform), Baibu Yunti (Hundred-Step Cloud Ladder), Hongfengyuan (Red Maple Garden), and Luosishan Square. It has also been developed as part of the "Tongdu Forest Park," which features dozens of tree species such as Masson pine, Chinese fir, wingnut, black locust, Paulownia, Pteroceltis tatarinowii, and Ulmus macrocarpa, with a living wood stock of

6,000 cubic meters.

The entire scenic area is covered with towering, lush trees, and uniquely shaped attractions are thoughtfully interspersed throughout, adding special charm. In particular, climbing "Qionglou" to overlook the cityscape and enjoy views of the Yangtze River, as well as visiting Luosishan Square to admire the scenery, play by the water, and engage in leisure activities, has become one of the popular attractions in the city that draws both residents and tourists.
