Hangzhou Seawall

The Hangzhou Seawall is a cultural heritage site protected at the provincial level in Zhejiang Province.

The Hangzhou Seawall is located in Shengjia Village, Sanjiao Village, and Wujiavillage of Qiaosi Subdistrict, as well as Tianwan Community, Wanchang Community, and Qiantang Community of Nanyuan Subdistrict. Dating back to the Ming and Qing dynasties, it is categorized as an ancient architectural structure.

In 2017, the Hangzhou Seawall was designated as a provincial-level cultural heritage site of Zhejiang Province.

Shengjia Village: Situated at the urban-rural fringe of Hangzhou, at the southernmost end of Yuhang’s Qiaosi area, Shengjia Village borders Xiasha and Jiubao. Provincial Highway 01 and Desheng Road run through the village. In early 2008, construction began on Line 1 of the Hangzhou Metro within the village, with the entire main line passing through the area now fully completed. Furthermore, Linping South Metro Station is located right next to the village, giving it a highly strategic location. The village currently has 11 villager groups, with a local population of 3,010 and a migrant population of over 27,000, covering a total area of approximately 1.52 square kilometers.
