Shanghuan Bridge

Shanghuan Bridge is a cultural heritage site protected at the municipal level by Hangzhou City.

Shanghuan Bridge is located in the Yuhang Economic and Technological Development Zone (Donghu Subdistrict), Hangzhou. It dates back to the Qing Dynasty and is classified as an ancient structure.

In 2009, Shanghuan Bridge was designated as a municipal-level cultural heritage site under protection by Hangzhou City.

The protected area extends approximately 20 meters beyond the bridge structure, covering a total area of 2,651 square meters.

The construction control zone extends approximately 30 meters beyond the protected area, covering a total area of 9,884 square meters.

Yuhang Economic Development Zone (Donghu Subdistrict): Donghu Subdistrict was established on August 20, 2001, following the conversion of a town into a subdistrict. It administers 9 villages (with Hongfeng and Hengtang villages managed by the development zone), 63 villager groups, 6 communities, with a total population of 33,437, including 28,418 non-agricultural residents, covering an area of 14.3 square kilometers.

Donghu Subdistrict is situated in the Linping urban area of Yuhang, enjoying a prime geographical location and well-developed infrastructure. It borders Xucun Town of Haining City to the east, connects to Linping Subdistrict to the west, and faces Yunhe Town to the north. The Shanghai–Hangzhou Railway and National Highway 320 run through the area. The Yuhang Economic Development Zone is located within Donghu Subdistrict.
