Dalingyin Temple is a cultural tourism attraction.

Dalingyin Temple on Dabeishan Mountain in Wulong Township, eastern Sijiao Island, is a renowned Buddhist site in Shengsi. It lies to the west of rolling peaks and to the east of the sea. Built during the Qing Dynasty's Tongzhi era, the temple is carved into the mountainside, featuring three side rooms on both the northern and southern sides, covering a total area of over 400 square meters. The main hall, called the Mahavira Hall, houses a seated Buddha statue over three meters tall, leaning against the wall, with a Thousand-Armed Guanyin behind the wall, as well as the Heavenly King Hall and the Arhat Hall.

During Buddhist festivals, villagers from across the county’s islands gather here to burn incense, pray, and count the arhats, creating a lively atmosphere. The mountaintop offers excellent views, forming an isosceles triangle with the two major beaches, Jihu and Nanchangtu, making it the best spot to admire the scenery of the sea dotted with islands and the sister beaches.

Shengsi tourist bus route from Taikelong (Caiyuan) to Dabeishan Scenic Area is available; fare is 4 RMB, or approximately 20 RMB by taxi
