Dawang Beach

Dawang Beach is the largest beach on Gouqi Island, located in Dawang Village on the island. The fine, soft sand makes it one of the must-visit spots for swimming and playing in the summer. The seawater is relatively clear, and there are rocky outcrops along the shore. If you’re lucky enough to visit during low tide, you may even be able to catch crabs, sea snails, and more.

The blue sky, clear sea, hillside fishing village, and seaside harbor offer great photo opportunities for capturing the charm of a fishing village—don’t miss it if you’re a photography enthusiast.

Transportation

The beach is about 4 kilometers from Gouqi Island Pier. You can take a bus to Dawang Village on Gouqi Island (3 RMB per person), and then walk to the beach.
