Houtouwan Village is located in the northeast of Shengshan Town and is an uninhabited abandoned village. It is understood that for the past twenty years, apart from one or two non-local vegetable farmers who grow vegetables, there are almost no villagers living in Houtouwan Village. However, the green-covered houses seamlessly blend with the lush mountain vegetation, creating a scenic view that has gained online popularity in recent years, attracting many tourists to visit and take photos.

Transportation

Houtouwan Village is located in Shengshan, which lies at the easternmost part of Shengsi, so transportation mainly relies on boats. Below is the transportation information to Shengshan:

1. Take a boat from Shanghai's Shengshan Xiaoyangshan Shenjiawan Passenger Terminal to Shengshan, departure time 9:15

2. Take a boat from Zhoushan's Shenjiamen Banshengdong Terminal to Shengshan, departure time 7:00

3. Take a boat from Shengsi's Caiyuan Town Xiaocaiyuan Terminal to Shengshan, departure times 7:30 and 11:50

After arriving in Shengshan, walk or rent a small truck to reach Houtouwan Village.
