Shengshan is the main fishing port and market of the Zhoushan Fishing Ground. Shengshan Island is the largest island at the easternmost tip of the Zhoushan Archipelago, facing Gouqi Island across the sea, with frequent ferry services between the two.

Departures are from Xiaocaiyuan Wharf in Sijiao Island’s Caiyuan Town (Location: Wulong Township at the foot of Dabeishan Mountain).

1. “Shengxiang No. 2” (Full fare: 46 RMB): Departs at 7:40 AM. On odd-numbered dates, it makes stops at Lvhua Island, Huaniao Island, and Gouqi Island along the way, allowing for mid-journey island stops, and arrives at Shengshan Island around 11:30 AM. On even-numbered dates, this ferry does not stop at other islands and goes directly to Shengshan. After arriving at Shengshan, “Shengxiang No. 2” returns the same way, getting back to Xiaocaiyuan Wharf around 3:00 PM. 2. High-speed ferry “Maosheng No. 6” (Ticket: 62 RMB): Departs at 3:30 PM, arriving directly at Shengshan Island in about 1 hour. It then returns the same way around 4:45 PM the same day. Upon arriving in Shengshan Town, you can take a tricycle or walk to Dayu Bay Beach.
