South Changtu Beach

South Changtu Beach: Located in the central southern bay of Sijiao Island, it is a ten-minute drive from the county town. It is known as the "sister beach" of Jihu Beach, with the two separated only by Hutou Mountain Ridge. South Changtu Beach stretches 2,750 meters in length and 200 meters in width. In fact, it consists of three adjacent beaches: Nanchangtu, Gaochangwan, and Shizhu. In 2007, it was designated as a provincial-level “agritainment” specialty village, and in 2009, the Haiguawan Recreation Center located in Gaochangwan Village was recognized as a provincial-level leisure fishery demonstration base. South Changtu Beach also features two scenic highlights worth visiting: one is the “Morning Mist and Pines,” and the other is the “Sea and Sand in One Hue,” appearing respectively in the morning and at noon.
