Dongsha Scenic Area

Dongsha Scenic Area is located northeast of Beiao Town in Dongtou County, covering an area of approximately 0.5 square kilometers. The area mainly features cultural landmarks and folk customs. It is the birthplace of the nationally renowned “Dongtou Pioneer Women’s Militia Company” and the hometown of “Haixia.” Visitors can explore the local island culture and folklore while also receiving patriotic education.

Currently, the main attractions in the scenic area include Mazu Palace, Dongsha Village, Shengli Bridge, Haixia Ancient Fishing Village, Double Embrace Rock, the Memorial Hall of the Dongtou Pioneer Women’s Militia Company, and the newly developed Haixia Military Theme Park.
