Zhuyu Scenic Area

The Zhuyu Scenic Area is located about 3.5 kilometers east of Dongtou County, facing the vast East China Sea. It consists of dozens of islands and reefs, including Dayuzhu, Xiaoyuzhu, Hutouzhu, Beimaozhu, and Bijiazhu. The scenic area covers approximately 3.8 square kilometers, offering blue skies, clear seas, dotted fishing boats, and flocks of seabirds.

Visitors can engage in mountain hunting and barbecues, go fishing by the sea and steam or boil freshly caught fish and shrimp. They can also take a small boat to ride the waves, admire peculiar reefs and rocks, and listen to the sound of ocean tides. Moreover, they can view the majestic sight of the international lighthouse on Hutouzhu. Especially noteworthy is the natural grassland covering several thousand square meters on Dayuzhu, hailed as the largest natural grassland in the East China Sea. Camping in the mountains, enjoying bonfire parties—these experiences are refreshing and uplifting. It's an ideal leisure destination for island survival, adventure camping, and marine eco-tourism.
