Guoyan Beacon Tower

The Guoyan Beacon Tower is a cultural relic protection site of Dongtou County.

The Guoyan Beacon Tower is located on Yandenggang in Zhaolou Village, Damen Town, Dongtou County, at an elevation of 392 meters. It consists of two parts, eastern and western, covering an area of 600 square meters. The eastern section has a remaining height of 2 meters, with a base side length of 4 meters and a diameter of 2 meters. The western section is reduced to an earthen mound and a fragmentary wall, with outer stone blocks and inner rammed earth. Ten meters away from the beacon, there are remnants of walls on both the northern and southern sides — each 0.6 meters high and 0.5 meters wide — with fragments of a celadon pointed-bottom bottle discovered inside the northern remnant wall.
