Guide: The scenic area features natural landscapes such as Layered Cake Rock, Frozen Waterfall, Tianmen Ridge, Guanyin Listening to the Waterfall, Yin-Yang Bed, General Rock, and Frog Cave. On the cliffs, eighteen arhats carved from granite stand tall and majestic, with the three characters “Luohan Wall” inscribed by Zhao Puchu. The Qiansi Temple Complex consists of Guanyin Pavilion, Hu Gong Temple, and Mazu Temple, with buildings of diverse styles that vividly reflect Qingtian stone art. The Youyuan (Leisure Garden) area comprises two parts located on either side of the -keng River: the eastern section is the Zuiyuan (Drunken Garden), while the western section is the Guihuayuan (Osmanthus Garden).

Tip: Yamaguchi Town is known as the “China Stone Carving City.” Nearly every household in Yamaguchi runs a stone carving workshop or has a stone carving exhibition room. Stone carving shops and workshops are found everywhere. The town’s stone carving market is a nationally renowned hub for fine stones and is the top destination for viewing and purchasing Qingtian stone carvings.

Qiansi Rock is located in Yamaguchi Town, 14 kilometers southeast of the county seat. Here, rock layers overlap in terraces, and the “Qiansi Waterfall” cascades down from above, splitting into silk-like streams. Nearby, the three characters “Qiansi Rock” are inscribed on a cliff face by Sha Menghai, a nationally renowned calligrapher.
