Shao Yi Hall and Hengshan Pagoda are both Major Historical and Cultural Sites Protected at the National Level.

Location: Longyou County, Quzhou City, Zhejiang Province

Shao Yi Hall is located in Hengshan Village, Hengshan Town, Longyou County, Quzhou City, Zhejiang Province. Constructed during the Hongwu period of the Ming Dynasty, the hall has four courtyards and three bays, faces south, and is built with a brick-and-wood structure. Currently, only the front two courtyards remain. The first courtyard consists of an entrance hall and a rear corridor. The second courtyard is the main hall, which features a flush-gable roof, with each of the two gable walls having a narrow passageway about 1 meter wide. On December 12, 1989, it was listed as a Zhejiang Provincial Cultural Relics Protection Unit, and in May 2013, it was included in the seventh batch of National Key Cultural Relics Protection Units.

Hengshan Pagoda is located in Hengshan Village, Hengshan Town, Longyou County, Quzhou City, Zhejiang Province, and was originally named “Hengfeng Pagoda.” Built in the 12th year of the Jiajing era of the Ming Dynasty (1534), the pagoda has an octagonal floor plan, stands seven stories tall (approximately 30+ meters), and is a hollow brick pagoda designed in the style of a wooden pavilion tower. On December 12, 1989, it was listed as a third batch Zhejiang Provincial Cultural Relics Protection Unit, and in May 2013, it was included in the seventh batch of National Key Cultural Relics Protection Units.

Due to years of neglect and peeling bricks, the pagoda underwent a complete disassembly and restoration between 2006 and 2007. On December 12, 1989, it was listed together with Shao Yi Hall as part of the third batch of Zhejiang Provincial Cultural Relics Protection Units, and in May 2013, it was again jointly included in the seventh batch of National Key Cultural Relics Protection Units.

Hengshan Village:

{Village Profile} Hengshan Village is located in the northern part of Longyou County and serves as the seat of the Hengshan Town government. The current Hengshan Village was formed by the merger of three former administrative villages: Hengshan Village, Gaoshan Village, and Fangye Village, covering a total area of 4.63 square kilometers. By the end of 2007, the village had a total of 840 households, a population of 2,347, and 100,000 yuan in available village-level funds.
