The Yang Family Ancestral Hall, which bears the horizontal plaque “Guanxi Family Mansion,” is 30 kilometers from Longyou City. This ancestral hall is an ancient structure dating back to the Wanli era of the Ming Dynasty, with a history of over 400 years. The entrance gate of the Yang Family Ancestral Hall is majestic in appearance. It features a double-eaved hip-and-gable roof, with wooden horizontal plaques under the eaves inscribed with the dignified and solemn characters “Guanxi Family Mansion” in regular script. At the center of the main ridge sits a gourd-shaped ornament, and plain drum stones stand on either side of the main gate. The “Guanxi Family Mansion” exhibits strong architectural characteristics of the Ming Dynasty and houses cultural relics such as an “Ancient Stage,” “Three (Zhan) Halls,” “Imperial Carriage of Yang Linggong,” and the “Yang Family Genealogy.”
