Zhitang Yongmu Hall

Zhitang Yongmu Hall is a cultural heritage site protected at the provincial level in Zhejiang Province.

Yongmu Hall is located in Zhitang Village, Hengshan Town, in a remote corner of northern Longyou, and has withstood over 700 years of wind and rain. Originally built in the 8th year of the Jiajing reign during the Ming Dynasty, it has been repaired and maintained through successive dynasties, with the fifth section being rebuilt in the late Qing Dynasty.

The building faces south and consists of five sections with three bays each, with a total width of 13.3 meters and a depth of 57.5 meters, covering a total area of 594 square meters. The entrance hall and corridors feature painted ceilings, while the courtyards are paved with neat bluestone slabs and supported by bracket arms (dougong) that extend the eaves. In July 1986, Yongmu Hall was designated as a cultural heritage site protected at the county level in Longyou.
