The Zheng Family Courtyard in Muchen is located in Muchen She Ethnic Township, Longyou County, dating back to the Republican era.

On January 13, 2017, it was announced by the People's Government of Zhejiang Province as part of the seventh batch of Zhejiang Provincial Cultural Relics Protection Units.

Muchen She Ethnic Township: Muchen She Ethnic Township is situated in the mountainous area of southern Longyou, bordering Suichang County to the south, adjacent to Xikou Town and Dajie Township to the northeast, and neighboring Miaoxia Township to the west. It covers a total area of 82.83 square kilometers. The township has 10,593 mu of arable land and 86,271 mu of forested land, including 59,086 mu of bamboo forests. The total population is 15,593, of which 3,810 are from the She ethnic group.
