Xianshan Site

The Xianshan Site is a cultural relic protection unit of Changxing County.

The Xianshan Site is located at Sihuanqiao Natural Village, Xianshan Village, Sixian Town, Changxing County, by the Sixian Reservoir. It dates back to the Xia Dynasty and is classified as an ancient site.

In March 1983, the Xianshan Site was designated as a county-level cultural relics protection unit.

Xianshan Village: I. Overview

Xianshan Village is situated in the western part of Sixian Town, bordering Provincial Road 04 to the east, the Sixian Reservoir to the west, Xinfeng Village to the south, and Erjieling Township to the north, covering a total area of 4.86 square kilometers. Blessed with a uniquely advantageous terrain and beautiful surroundings, the village has a total of 568 households and a population of 1,986. In April 2002, the People's Government of Sixian Town reorganized 51 administrative villages into 24 in order to strengthen the development of central villages. The current Xianshan Village was formed through the merger of the former Xianshan Village and Xinjian Second Village.
