Laofenshan Site

The Laofenshan Site is a cultural heritage protection unit of Changxing County.

The Laofenshan Site is located to the north of Qianzhi Natural Village, Quartz Village, Lincheng Town, Changxing County. It dates back to the Shang and Zhou dynasties and is classified as an ancient site.

In August 2003, the Laofenshan Site was designated as a county-level cultural heritage protection unit.

Quartz Village: Introduction to Quartz Village

The village administers 22 natural villages, 43 contracting groups, 1,020 households, and 3,703 people (including 2,430 laborers), with 89 Party members. It has a cultivated land area of 7,792 mu (including 7,198 mu of paddy fields), 5,000 mu of forested land, and 1,010 mu of fish ponds. It is well known for its abundant quartz stone resources, and its diverse landforms have also contributed to a rich variety of agricultural products. In 2009, the per capita net income of farmers was 12,190 yuan, and the village collective economy generated an income of 2.2613 million yuan.
