Gaojiaqiao Site

The Gaojiaqiao Site is a cultural heritage protection unit of Changxing County.

The Gaojiaqiao Site is located at Gaojiaqiao in Huanqiao Natural Village, Wushan Village, Hongxingqiao Town, Changxing County. It dates back to the Neolithic Age through the Shang and Zhou dynasties and is classified as an ancient site.

In January 2010, the Gaojiaqiao Site was designated as a county-level cultural heritage protection unit.

Wushan Village: Wushan Village is located in the northwest of Hongxingqiao Town, approximately 4.5 kilometers from the town government center. To the east, it neighbors Heqiao and Tanjia villages; to the south, it faces Zhengjia Village across the Sian River; to the west, it borders Lincheng's Wushangang Village; and to the north, it connects to Changqiao Village in Zhicheng. It is the only village in the entire town that has both mountains and water. The village covers a total area of 3.74 square kilometers, including 4,287 mu of arable land—of which 4,150 mu are grain fields—200 mu of water area, and 569.43 mu of mountainous terrain.
