Huanchen Site

The Huanchen Site is a cultural heritage protection unit of Changxing County.

The Huanchen Site is located in Gangxi, Huanchen Natural Village, Huanchen Village, Jiapu Town, Changxing County, dating back to the Xia–Shang period. It is classified as an ancient site.

In May 1961, the Huanchen Site was designated as a county-level cultural heritage protection unit.

Huanchen Village: Surrounded by the scenic Taihu Lake to the east, Huanchen Village boasts beautiful landscapes. National Highway 104, the Hangzhou–Ningbo Expressway, the Hangzhou–Ningbo High-Speed Railway, the Lakeside Scenic Boulevard, and the Camphor Tree Boulevard all run through the village, offering convenient transportation and a prime location. The village covers a total area of 5.18 square kilometers, including 2,980 mu of arable land. It has 1,204 permanent households and a resident population of 3,629, making it the most populous administrative village in Jiapu Town. The village comprises eight natural villages: Dingjia Zhu, Zangjia Village, Xianren Bang, Huanchen, Yejia Bang, Sunjia Bang, Duifeng Bang, and Yinquan Village, with a total of 120 Party members.
