Liuhe Bridge

Liuhe Bridge is a cultural heritage protection unit of Changxing County.

Liuhe Bridge is located in Beitan Natural Village, Nanyang Village, Hongqiao Town, Changxing County. It dates back to the Republic of China period and is categorized as a modern-era significant historical site and representative architecture.

In January 2010, Liuhe Bridge was designated as a county-level cultural heritage protection unit.

Nanyang Village: Nanyang Village is situated in the northwest of Hongqiao Town, adjacent to Xintang. It consists of nine natural villages: Zhongjiabang, Sanjiacun, Shenjiatai, Gujiatan, Zhoushierdou, Xihua, Qingshui Bang, Beitan, and Dongfang. The village has 19 contracting groups, with 620 households and a total population of 2,117. In 2013, the village’s total collective economic income was 201,000 yuan, and the per capita net income of villagers was 14,145 yuan. The main industry is specialty aquaculture, with approximately 1,300 mu of aquaculture area and 2,000 mu of farmland.
