The Tomb of Xu Jie is a cultural heritage protection unit of Changxing County.

The Tomb of Xu Jie is located in Heping Town and dates back to the Ming Dynasty. In 2019, it was included in the seventh batch of county-level cultural heritage protection units in Changxing County.

Construction control zone: west to the village road, east, south, and north to the respective ridge lines, covering 40,000 square meters.

(1503–1583), of Han ethnicity. His courtesy name was Zisheng, and his art names were Shaohu and Cunzhai. He was a native of Huating County, Songjiang Prefecture, Ming Dynasty (now Songjiang District, Shanghai), and a disciple of the School of Mind (founded by Wang Shouren). From an early age, he excelled in poetry and prose, and was skilled in calligraphy. In the second year of the Jiajing era (1523), he ranked third in the imperial examination and was appointed as a compiler at the Hanlin Academy. Later, due to clashing with Zhang Fuqing, he was demoted to the position of magistrate in Yanping Prefecture. After this setback, he became cautious in dealing with his superiors. Yanping had many bandits, but after taking office, he captured over 100 major criminals; cleared up backlogged cases, released imprisoned detainees, and earned a good reputation.
