The Kōngshān Site

The Kōngshān Site is a cultural heritage protection unit of Zhejiang Province.

The Kōngshān Site is located on Kōngshān Mountain at the border between Guàndài Village and Zàoshān Village in Sì'ān Town, Chángxīng County. Dating back to the Neolithic Age through the Shang and Zhou dynasties, it is classified as an ancient site.

In January 2011, the Kōngshān Site was designated as a provincial-level cultural heritage protection unit.

Guàndài Village: Guàndài Village is situated in the eastern part of Sì'ān Town, within the town’s eastern district. It borders Tángnán Village of Línchéng Town to the east, is bounded by the Sì'ān River to the south, connects to Xǐzhǐ Village of Sì'ān Town to the west, and adjoins Xīnxīng Village of Línchéng Town to the north. The terrain is flat, with a total area of 5.2 square kilometers. The village administers 20 contracting groups and 15 natural villages, with 842 households and a population of 2,863. The arable land covers 5,522 mu, and the water pond area spans 1,000 mu. The village’s two-committee leadership team currently consists of 5 members. The village Party general branch oversees 3 Party branches, with 100 Party members.
