The Changxing Confucius Temple is a cultural relics protection unit of Zhejiang Province.

The Changxing Confucius Temple is located to the north of the intersection between Jinling Road and Xianqian Street in Zhicheng Subdistrict, Changxing County. Dating back to the Ming Dynasty, it is classified as an ancient architectural structure.

In January 2011, the Changxing Confucius Temple was designated as a provincial-level cultural relics protection unit.

Zhicheng Subdistrict: Zhicheng Town is the seat of the Changxing County Committee and County Government of Zhejiang Province. It is situated at the junction of Zhejiang, Jiangsu, and Anhui provinces, bordering Jiangsu to the north, Anhui to the west, Hangzhou to the south, and Taihu Lake to the east. The town covers an area of 88 square kilometers. As of 2007, it governed 15 administrative villages and 6 directly administered neighborhood committees, with a population of 49,400. The area boasts abundant and diverse natural resources, including the renowned “Four Treasures of Taihu Lake.” Both industrial and agricultural economies have developed rapidly. Social services and infrastructure are well-established.
