Entian Rose Park is situated within the Taicang Modern Agriculture Park, spanning 230 acres. It is bordered by Shanghai and large and medium-sized cities including Hangzhou, Jiaxing, and Huzhou to the south, and lies next to the Suzhou-Wuxi-Changzhou economic circle to the west. The Riverside Expressway, Sujiaotai Expressway, and the extended section of the Shanghai-Jiaxing Expressway intersect 1.5 kilometers west of the park, providing excellent transportation access. The park held its groundbreaking ceremony on May 26, 2008, and was preliminarily completed by the end of April 2009, with a total investment of 180 million yuan.

China is known as the “Mother of the Modern Rose,” a significant conclusion reached by Mr. Jiang Entian in his research on the history of roses worldwide. Jiang Entian (1908.9.17–1975.6.22), a native of Taicang, Jiangsu, dedicated her life to the cultivation and promotion of roses, advancing the global rose industry. She earned the title “Rose Queen” among horticultural circles both in China and abroad. To honor her outstanding contributions, her hometown established and named this park the Entian Rose Park on the centennial of her birth.

Entian Rose Park consists of four parts: the Jiang Entian Memorial Hall, the Centralized Rose Variety Exhibition Area, the Rose Research and Development Center, and the Rose Manor. It integrates exhibition, entertainment, leisure, commemoration, vacation, and research. The park’s main structure, the Jiang Entian Memorial Hall, showcases the legacy of “Rose Queen” Jiang Entian and highlights the rich cultural heritage and diverse collection of renowned roses from China and around the world.

Stepping into Entian Rose Park is like entering the cultural hall of the “Rose Queen,” wandering through a vibrant sea of roses that allows you to appreciate the beauty of famous roses from China and abroad. Once there, you’re sure to be enchanted and reluctant to leave.

By car: Take the Riverside Expressway to the Taicang exit — follow Road 339 — head west to Dongting Road — Xingang Road — Taixing Village, Shaxi Town, Sujiaotai Expressway — exit at Shuangfeng, head toward Shuangfeng — National Highway 204 — Xingang Road — Taixing Village, Shaxi Town.
