The former site of Central China Xuefeng University is a cultural relic protection unit of Jiangsu Province.

The former site of Central China Xuefeng University is located at No. 87 and 89, Taiping Street, Jieshou Town, Gaoyou City. The university was established during China's Liberation War period to meet the need for training military cadres. In April 1946, the Central China Military Region merged the former Fourth and Ninth Branches of the Anti-Japanese Military and Political University, among others, and announced its establishment in Jieshou. It was co-headed by Su Yu, Deputy Commander of the Central China Field Army, with General Zhang Chongwen serving as Vice President and female General Qiu Yihan as Director of the Political Department. Due to the needs of the anti-enemy struggle at the time, the school's classrooms were mobile, with teaching taking place at locations such as Huguo Temple, Sanguan Hall, and Sixiangkou in Jieshou Town. The site currently covers an area of 594 square meters, with a total of 16 rooms, all featuring blue brick roofing tiles and single-eave hip-and-gable roofs. Among them, the front hall consists of three rooms, 7 meters in north-south length and 3 meters in depth, serving as the duty office for support staff; there are two rows of north-south facing buildings — the front row has four rooms, 15 meters in east-west length and 10 meters in depth, serving as the residence for leaders; the back row has nine rooms, 26.6 meters in east-west length and 6 meters in depth, serving as the teaching area of the university. In November 1946, after a merger, the university was re-established in Shandong as the East China Military and Political University, and after the liberation, it was renamed the Nanjing Army Command College.

Jieshou Town: A town under the jurisdiction of Gaoyou City. Established as Jieshou Town in 1949, changed to a township in 1956, a commune in 1958, reinstated as a township in 1983, and re-established as a town in 1985. Located in the northern part of the city, on the eastern bank of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal, it is 25 kilometers from the city government. Covering an area of 54 square kilometers with a population of 35,000, it is traversed by the Huaijiang (Huaiyin–Jiangdu) and Jielin (Jieshou–Linze) highways, and lies close to the eastern bank of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal, which has a 2,000-tonnage wharf.
