Xiaotaoyuan Park

Xiaotaoyuan is located at the foot of the ancient city wall south of Yijiangmen, facing the moat. It boasts an elegant and tranquil environment, serving as an open leisure green space.

The water area of Xiaotaoyuan is shared with Xiuqiu Park to the north along the moat. Stretching 1,000 meters from Zhongshan North Road in the north to the outer Qinhuai River embankment in the south, and spanning 120 meters in width, the moat forms the park's aquatic landscape. Fish play in the rippling waters stirred by the breeze, willows sway gracefully along the banks, and visitors can wander freely. Paired with pavilions, terraces, waterside gazebos, and rockeries, Xiaotaoyuan embodies the distinctive charm of a classical Jiangnan-style garden.

The park is planted with thousands of peach trees of over 20 varieties, including flowering peaches, fruiting peaches, purple-leaf peaches, and longevity peaches. When spring arrives and flowers bloom, the peach blossoms here burst forth in red, pink, yellow, white, and green hues, greeting visitors with their most beautiful smiles.
